2007/2008 Alpha Academy Application

The Beta Nu Lambda Foundation, Inc. is proud to support the Alpha Academy Leadership Program. This program is designed to enhance and enrich the lives of minority males in the Charlotte area. Our mission is to assist young men in achieving academic excellence, social refinement and cultural awareness in an effort to help them become productive members of society.

The Academy will meet from 10 am to 2 pm two Saturdays each month from September to June culminating with a graduation ceremony during the first week of June. During these sessions students will be provided with tutorial assistance, seminars on various topics such as SAT prep and college admissions. There will also be a technology component to the Academy as well as courses covering social and cultural issues.
