Greetings on behalf of the members of the Beta Nu Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. It is
truly an honor and pleasure to welcome you to the official website of this award-winning chapter.

We are a membership of more than 250 diverse, talented, and college-educated men who are committed to
the ideals of brotherhood, scholarship, and service. Chartered on August 1, 1939, the Beta Nu Lambda Chapter
(BNL) has diligently served Charlotte, North Carolina, and surrounding areas for over 80 years. We take pride in
being the “Guardians of the Queen City”.

Our programs and activities are designed to enrich and transform lives in five core areas:
1.) Educational Development
2.) Political and Social Action
3.) Physical and Mental Health
4.) Housing and Homelessness
5.) Financial Wellness

We are steadfast in our mission to be community advocates and agents of change and progress.

To expand our service footprint and to deepen our level of impact, we are excited to grow our established

community partnerships and welcome new collaborations that align with our purpose and program focus.

As President of the Beta Nu Lambda Chapter, I invite all locally based Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha to join us at
a monthly chapter meeting or any chapter events. If you are looking for a chapter home, there is always a
